YOU in Focus

 A letter to VITESSE Team and Associates:

This isn’t business as usual, and it’s a time of great stress and uncertainty. It’s also a moment in time when the actions we take have the most impacts on ourselves and people around us.

For those of you that are still on the job, I’m not alone in being grateful for the work you do every day, delivering services or products that are essential to our communities and economy during these unprecedented times. I’ve received hundreds of emails from clients and seen posts on social media thanking you all. Your efforts and dedication are being noticed & acknowledged.

For those of you that were laid off or your work hours have been cut back because of the COVID-19, VITESSE Team & I are doing everything we can to sustain the business and be in the position to assist you with great employment opportunities once this pandemic is under control. I want you to know VITESSE will continue to do its part, and we won’t stop looking for new ways to provide values to you.

My list of worries right now — like yours I’m sure — is long: from my own children, parents, family, friends, to the safety of you, my colleagues, to those who are already very sick, and to the financial negative impact caused by the economic fallout across our communities. I want to share with you the following that’s in our control and can be helpful to get us through this time:

·        Be gentle with yourself, and with those around you.

·        Set a routine for you and your loved ones to help build consistency. 

·        Reach out to your support networks.

·        Focus on controlling the things that you can. 

·        Stick to (or create new) healthy habits.

·        Learn a new marketable skill.

·        Find at least one thing to feel positive or grateful about every day.

·        Figure out a way to help others.

Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Please stay well and safe.

I truly believe that in the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity. I know that we’re going to get through this, together.
